Katharina v. Sohlern
Katharina is a versatile artist, traveling anthropologist, strategic designer, and performer with a passion for creating narrative worlds and immersive experiences. Her work seamlessly blends performance, theatre, and music, crafting analog experiences that captivate audiences and invite them into unique storytelling spaces.
With a Master's degree in Social Anthropology, Katharina deepened her artistic practice by completing an intensive one-year physical theater and clown program at Arthaus, where she met Lucy Fourgs. Her training also includes a variety of specialized courses, such as Theatre of the Oppressed, Physical Theater and Dance, among others.
Katharina is a member of the transcosmic performance collective and choir Heart Chor and co-founder of Intergalactic Pussy Shine. When she’s not performing on stage, she transforms into her DJ alter ego, Uschi Jagger, igniting dance floors across Germany, Portugal, Mexico and Brazil for over a decade.
